Photoshop and Gimp - Photo Editing Tools for Academic and Administrative Staff
Photoshop (commercial) and Gimp (open source) are powerful photo editing tools at the opposite ends of the cost continuum. Come to the workshop to learn how to successfully use either tool to edit and optimize photos for use in the academic environment as well as for personal and professional and projects. Regardless of the software used, many techniques can carry across. Participant Preparation Expectations: Participants in this session should have at least basic to intermediate computer skills and access to some saved digital images.
