Conditions that Contribute to Transformative Learning
Transformative learning experiences have been identified as important priorities for the University in our current strategic plan and our HLC Pathway projects. In this workshop, members of the Transformative Experiences Task Force will present conditions, strategies, and techniques that maximize the potential that class or out- of-class experiences will result in transformative learning. Understanding these conditions, strategies, and techniques will be important to those individuals and groups applying for Pathway Project grants and to any faculty or staff member who would like to improve the educational experiences they provide to students. Students may also benefit from this workshop in discovering methods to enhance the impact of their educational experiences. Participant Preparation Expectations: None
